Single Payment Option: Ideal if you know the exact number of days coverage is needed. Minimum number of days is 30; maximum is 185. When you choose this option, coverage will remain in effect for the number of days you choose. No refund is available if you later discover that you don't need coverage for the entire number of days selected. Need to know how many days between two dates? Click here for our handy calculator.

Monthly Payment Option: Ideal if you are unsure how long you need coverage. This "pay as you go" option lets you continue coverage for as long as needed (up to 185 days) or discontinue the plan whenever you want. You make an initial premium payment of 35 days and for each 30 days thereafter. The monthly payment option is more expensive than the single payment option due to the additional administration in processing monthly payments and because you have the ability to cancel coverage at any time and receive a refund.

Most persons have a temporary insurance need for up to 185 days; therefore, the "Rate of Payment" plans, deductibles and rates shown below are based on plans with a maximum of 185 days. If you need coverage for more than 185 days, also offered on Assurant Health's web site are plans with coverage for up to 365 days; however, the "Rate of Payment" plans, deductibles and rates are different than shown on this page. To see the plans and rates for up to 365 days of coverage, click on the "Apply Now!" button below which will take you to Assurant Health's web site.
